Stamford Police, Salvation Army Partner On Back-To-School Event

The event will feature new fun games, food, raffle prizes, school readiness information and filled backpacks to take home.

STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Police Department and The Salvation Army are once again partnering for the annual back-to-school event, which is slated for Aug. 16.

The event will take place at 198 Selleck St. from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Registration is required and can be completed at The Salvation Army, 198 Selleck St., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. Interested attendees must bring a Stamford ID and birth certificates for children ages 5-12.
