Stamford Resident Takes Home Biggest Prize In 'Wheel Of Fortune' History
"I have to wipe a tear from my eye," said show host Ryan Seacrest following the big win.

STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford resident made history this week on "Wheel of Fortune" by becoming the biggest winner in the game show's history.
Christina Derevjanik on Tuesday won the $1 million prize after landing on the $1 million prize wedge, solving that round's puzzle, and making it to the bonus round without hitting bankruptcy.
In the bonus round, Derevjanik chose the category "living things," and solved the puzzle with "PACK OF COYOTES." Show host Ryan Seacrest then revealed the $1 million envelope Derevjanik won on the bonus wheel.

Derevjanik won a grand total of $1,035,155, plus trips to Tokyo and Montana.
According to Good Morning America, Seacrest told Derevjanik afterwards that she was the biggest winner in the show's history.
"I was trying to manifest this. I was hoping for confetti, but I never thought it would actually happen," Derevjanik said, GMA reported.
GMA noted that Derevjanik works in marketing for a utilities company. Her boss was in the audience, and before she solved the bonus round, Derevjanik joked she might put her two-weeks notice in at work if she won $1 million.
After the big prize was secured, Derevjanik said she'll be having a conversation with her boss once they get back to the office.
The "Wheel of Fortune" YouTube channel says Derevjanik was the show's fifth $1 million winner.
