STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford Public Schools employee is accused of posting multiple photos and videos of a woman he was in a relationship with to a pornographic website without her consent, according to police.

Dominick Plateroti, 46, the head custodian at Westhill High School and a Norwalk resident, was arrested on Sept. 9 and charged with 52 counts of unlawful dissemination of an intimate image.

An SPS spokesperson told Patch Plateroti was immediately placed on administrative leave.

Stamford police wrote in an arrest warrant affidavit that Plateroti met a woman online in 2010 and had been in a relationship with her for 13-and-a-half years.

On Dec. 23, 2023, the woman discovered personal emails from Plateroti and further investigated the browser history, the affidavit said.

She navigated to an adult website where she found pornographic photos and videos of herself under an account that featured Plateroti's email address, the affidavit said. The materials in the account dated back to 2013.

Some of the photos and videos, the woman claimed to police, "she was unaware Plateroti had taken."

The woman, who has not been identified, went to Stamford police headquarters in April and provided investigators a flash drive with materials that were posted on the website, the affidavit said.

Police executed a search warrant on the adult website, and the results pointed back to an account created in August 2012 with Plateroti's name and email address, according to the affidavit, which noted the files provided by the adult website matched what was on the woman's flash drive.

Police said Plateroti uploaded 20 videos and 32 photos of the woman between 2020 and 2024.

On June 9, police met with Plateroti and he denied ever uploading any images, but he acknowledged being familiar with the adult website in question, the affidavit said.

An arrest warrant for Plateroti was signed by a Stamford Superior Court judge last week.

The CT Judicial Branch website notes Plateroti posted seven percent of a $50,000 bond. He's scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 6.
