Stamford Teen Accused of Choking Mother: Report
The mother came home early and reportedly found her son had skipped school.
STAMFORD, CT - An 18-year-old Stamford student is facing charges he assaulted and threatened to kill his mother when she came early and found he was home, instead of in school.
Mayco Ortiz was charged with disorderly conduct, threatening, strangulation and unlawful restraint in connection with the Monday afternoon incident in his Soundview Avenue home, according to The Advocate.
His mother called police shortly after 2 p.m. and reported her son grabbed her throat and threatened to kill her after she threatened to call his father when she found he apparently skipped school, according to The Advocate report that can be found here.
