Stamford Traffic Alert: Construction Closes 1 Lane of I-95

In the northbound lanes of I-95 in Stamford, construction between Exits 8 and 10 in Stamford and Darien has closed the right lane.

Late Tuesday morning traffic is backed up to about Exit 7, according to the DOT. The right lane will remain closed until 3 p.m. Tuesday.

If you’re traveling southbound, there’s a disabled tractor-trailer is slowing traffic in Greenwich late Tuesday morning.

The truck has been moved from the southbound center lane to the shoulder between Exits 3 and 2, in the area of the weigh station, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation. Traffic is backed up to Exit 4.
