Warm Weather Heats Up Parking Problems at Stamford Beach

STAMFORD--The warm weather is bringing back parking woes for neighbors of one popular Stamford beach.

Neighbors near Cove Island Park, a public beach in Stamford, are voicing complaints about illegal parking, according to The Stamford Advocate.

The Advocate reports that some visitors park on side streets to avoid paying for a beach parking permit or a daily parking fee.

Those who park on the side streets without a neighborhood parking permit are ticketed by police and face $80 fines, the report states.
