East Lyme Girls Lacrosse Players Honored
Kiki Ryan, Lindsay Schneider and Caroline Gonsalves were recognized as top players and top academics by the U.S. Lacrosse on June 13.

East Lyme High School's Kiki Ryan was honored by the U.S. Lacrosse with an Honorable Mention on its list of this year's All-Americans. Ryan also made the list of All-Academic winners, along with Lindsay Schneider and Caroline Gonsalves.
According to the organization's Web site, a US Lacrosse All-Academic honoree is a player who exhibits exemplary lacrosse skills, good sportsmanship on the field, and represents high standards of academic achievement in the classroom. This player also should have left her mark beyond the lacrosse field and the classroom by making significant contributions of service to the school and/or community.
A total of 297 first-team All-Americans, 145 honorable-mention All-Americans, 2,170 All-Academic honorees and 35 Jackie Pitts Award winners were selected from 51 chapters of US Lacrosse. The announcements were made on June 13.
