Have You Seen This Young Woman?

State police are asking for the public's help in locating an Eastern Connecticut State University student who was last seen on April 20.

On Wednesday, April 24, 2013, Connecticut State Police were contacted by Eastern Connecticut State University Police for assistance in investigating a missing person report.

Alyssiah Marie Wiley, 21, was last seen on campus on April 20. She is described as a black female, 5’6”, 150 lbs. University Police had initiated a case after receiving this report and learning that the student could not be located by friends or family. 

State Police Major Crime Detectives and State Police Missing Person Detectives responded to the University to begin work on this investigation.  The State Police Emergency Services Trooper K-9 teams responded to conduct searched of specific areas for investigators. Family and friends were interviewed by Missing Person & Major Crime Detectives relative to the missing females last known movements.    

State Police now believe that a black 2009 Nissan Altima 4-door sedan with tinted windows, CT Registration 297-ZOY may connected to her disappearance. Police are asking anyone who has seen the vehicle or who may know the whereabouts of this missing person to please call State Police at Troop K at (860) 537-7500. All calls are confidential.
