David Bojorquez, 49, of 293 Hamburg Road in Lyme died of injuries he sustained when his car crashed into a tree on May 9.
According to the police report, Bojoquez was driving southbound on Boston Post Road just south of Four Mile River Road in Old Lyme at about 4:15 am when his car veered across the northbound lane and into a wooded area. The vehicle rolled over onto the driver's side and crashed into a tree.
Bojorquez was extricated and taken via Lifestar helicopter to Yale New Haven Hospital, but sadly his injuries proved to be fatal. State Police Troop F are investigating the accident, the cause of which is unknown at this time.
