Lyme-Old Lyme Student Artists Garner Awards
Five students were recognized for their outstanding work at the annual Connecticut Scholastic Art Awards

The Lyme-Old Lyme High School Visual Arts Department is proud to announce that five students have distinguished themselves at the annual Connecticut Scholastic Art Awards.
Blaise Berglund was awarded a Gold Key in the competitive Senior Portfolio category for her portfolio of eight ceramic works. Her portfolio will go on to be juried for possible inclusion in the National Scholastic Art Awards in New York.

In the drawing category junior Isabelle Foster was awarded a Silver Key, while Hannah Lacey and Olivia Hack earned Honorable Mentions. An additional Honorable Mention was earned by Tanya Malik in the Sculpture category.
Art teachers throughout Connecticut may submit a maximum of four pieces or portfolios to Scholastic each year. The work will be exhibited at Hartford Art School’s Silpe Gallery through February 1.
