Garry Legein, 70, of 60 West End Drive, Old Lyme, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and with failure to drive in the proper lane. He was arrested after police reported observed him wavering over the lines dividing lanes on Route 156 in Old Lyme. Bond was set at $1,000.

State Police at Troop F are investigating a counterfeit check that was cashed at Webster Bank, Route 1, in Old Lyme on November 27, 2013.
