Police Blotter: State Police Troop E Arrest Reports
The following arrest reports for East Lyme and Old Lyme are provided by State Police Troop E and East Lyme Police Department. An arrest does not signify a conviction.
April 25, 2013
Sonja S. Spellberg, 35, of 60 Belair Road, East Lyme, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, failure to drive in the proper lane, traveling too fast for conditions, and operating a motor vehicle with a valid out of state license for more than 60 days. Bond was set at $500.
According to the police report at State Police Troop E, the accused was arrested following a motor vehicle accident on 1-95 northbound during which her vehicle collided with metal beam guardrail on the median.
April 27, 2013
Christopher M. Neal, 20, of 15 Freedom Way, Niantic, was arrested by East Lyme Police Department and charged with violation of probation.
April 28, 2013
Thomas J. Szarzynski, 54, of 3 Jean Drive in Old Lyme, was arrested and charged with failure to appear in the second degree. Bond was set at $10,000.
