Storm Update: What's On, What's Not?

A list of closures and a look at what's still on tonight in East Lyme, Old Lyme, and Lyme

The Winter Storm Warning for New London County has been extended until 6 p.m. tonight as snow continues to fall, at times heavily. We're already up to about nine inches of snow and we could end up with as much as a foot in some places.

Try to stay off the roads if possible, take it slow, and take it easy if you're shoveling!

As usual, the heavy wet snow and occasional strong wind gusts of up to 40 mph threaten to knock out power. Connecticut Light & Power was reporting that about 6,400 customers are without power, but so far the lights are on in East Lyme, Old Lyme, and Lyme.

CL&P has crews at the ready to deal with outages. Call CL&P at 800 286-2000 to report outages or downed power lines.
