The Brothers Weissinger in Court
Justin and Karl Weissinger, both of whom are facing multiple burglary charges, are appearing in court this week, but in different states for different reasons.

Two Lyme brothers, Justin and Karl Weissinger, were scheduled for pretrial hearings in New London Superior Court this week, but Justin Weissinger was a no show yesterday.
Justin Weissinger, who remains in custody, flew to California last month to appear as a material witness in a capital case against three marines accused of killing a fellow Marine and his wife in Riverside, California.
All the Marines were based at Camp Pendleton, which is where Weissinger comes in. He was serving as a Marine at Camp Pendleton with the accused and told law enforcement they confessed details to him about the crime. He is testifying in that trial, which started last month.
Justin Weissinger's pretrial hearing in New London Superior Court has been rescheduled for May 30.
Justin's brother, Karl, is expected to appear in New London Superior Court today for a pretrial hearing. Both brothers are charged with multiple counts of burglary. They were arrested following an investigation into a string of break-ins in Lyme, Salem, and East Haddam.
