They Did It! East Lyme, Old Lyme, and Lyme Students Collect Diplomas At UConn This Weekend
Here's a list of all the local students graduating from UConn this year. You'll also find a schedule of the many and various commencement ceremonies that are being held to celebrate the big milestone.

The University of Connecticut will award approximately 7,000 undergraduate and graduate diplomas during 12 separate commencement exercises taking place on the Storrs campus this weekend. And there are a lot of familiar names on the list of graduates this year.

Commencement Ceremony Schedule
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS), which has approximately 2,500 graduates, will hold two ceremonies for graduates, one at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, and one at 5 p.m. later that afternoon.
Graduates will attend either the first or second ceremony based on their major. Speaking at the first ceremony will be Dr. Frank Torti, Dean of the UConn School of Medicine. Addressing the afternoon gathering will be Conn. Secretary of the State, Denise Merrill ’88 (BGS).
The following ceremonies will be held in Gampel Pavilion
On Saturday, May 11: School of Engineering, 9:00 a.m.; Graduate School, 1:30 p.m., College of Agriculture & Natural Resources and Ratcliffe Hicks School of Agriculture, 6:00 p.m.
On Sunday, May 12: School of Business, 9:00 a.m., College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS -Ceremony I), 12:30 p.m., College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS-Ceremony II), 5:00 p.m.

Separate ceremonies will be held on May 13 for the Schools of Medicine and Dental Medicine, and on May 19 for the School of Law.
