TOLLAND, CT — State police are looking for two vehicles involved in two highway hit-and-run incidents in Tolland.

The first crash involved a 2004 Honda Civic being cut off, state police said. At 4:05 p.m. Sunday, the Honda was headed west on Interstate 84 in the center lane, when another vehicle came speeding along in the left-hand lane and suddenly darted into the center lane, according to a crash report.

The offending vehicle tore the "bumper cover" off the Honda after hitting it and then sped away, according to a crash report.

The vehicle was described as a "silver or white" sports car, according to a crash report. No injuries were reported.

At 11:10 a.m. on July 29, A tractor-trailer was traveling east on I-84 near Exit 69, when an unknown vehicle began passing it along the right shoulder, according to a crash report.

The vehicle hit the front bumper of the truck, causing minor damage, but managed to speed away, according to a crash report.

State police said any witnesses can call them at the Troop C barracks — 860-896-3200.
