Celebrating a Legend: Coach Auggie Link Honored at THS Eagle Scramble
Tolland Project Graduation and Booster Club 7th annual Eagle Scramble Tournament, September 21st.
TOLLAND, CT — After nearly five decades of coaching, mentoring, and inspiring generations of Tolland athletes, Coach Auggie Link will be honored at this year’s THS Eagle Scramble Golf Tournament. Link, who retired this spring after an extraordinary 48-year career with Tolland High School sports, will be recognized during the tournament’s dinner celebration on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Topstone Golf Course in South Windsor.
Though known for his humility and unwavering dedication, Coach Link’s former players and colleagues felt strongly that this was the perfect moment to shine a spotlight on a man who has given so much to the school and community.
“Coach Link’s impact on generations of student-athletes is immeasurable,” said Mary Rose Duberek, THS Booster Club Vice President and Eagle Scramble Committee member. “He’s never sought the spotlight, but this is our chance to say thank you.”
