TOLLAND, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation has scheduled a virtual public information meeting on a project to replace a bridge on Industrial Park Road East later this month.

The bridge — officially DOT Bridge No. 06975 — carries Industrial Park Road East over Gages Brook in Tolland and the meeting is slated for June 23, 2025, at 7 p.m.

The DOT said the public information meeting is being staged to provide the public and local community the opportunity to offer comments or ask questions regarding the project. The meeting will take place on Zoom, and registration is required. A question and answer session will immediately follow the presentation, which will be recorded.

"This project will address the deterioration of Bridge No. 06975 by designing a replacement structure that meets all current design standards and improves the safety of the crossing for all roadway users," said Connecticut Department of Transportation Project Manager Michelle Rame. "We encourage the public to attend this meeting to share their feedback with the CTDOT project team to incorporate into the design."
