TOLLAND, CT — A warrant has charged a 27-year-old driver with throwing objects at a motor vehicle and other transgressions in Connection with an April road rage incident in Tolland, state police said.

He was also charged with reckless driving and second-degree reckless endangerment, according to a warrant. He is due in Rockville Superior Court on June 10, state police said.

The incident took place on May 24 on the eastbound side of interstate 84 near Exit 68 just before 6 p.m.m records show. The road rage began when two vehicles narrowly misses colliding during a simultaneous lane change and proceeded along the highway, according to a warrant.

It involved "brake checking" illegal passing on the shoulder and other lanes, cutting off tractor-trailers and even a dsrill bit being thrown out a car window, according to a warrant.
