Driver Dies In I-84 Ramp Crash In Tolland
State police said a man was killed when his vehicle veered off a highway ramp in Tolland Monday.
TOLLAND, CT — An Ashford man died in a crash on a highway ramp in Tolland Monday afternoon, state police said.
According to a state police crash report, 68-year-old Robert Bickford was driving a 2000 Honda Civic on the eastbound Exit 69 off-ramp at about 3:30 p.m. He lost control of the car and crash along 20 feet of guardrail, according to a crash report.
He also hit several traffic signs, state police said.

Bickford was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
