TOLLAND, CT — State police discovered that the only thing gassed up was the driver at a recent incident at a Tolland filling station.

According to an arrest report, resident troopers arrived at the Mobile station at 56 Merrow Road to discover a driver acting sluggish while in his seat with the door open, the keys in the ignition and the engine running.

The driver, a 48-year-old man from Lebanon, TN, driving a vehicle registered in Tennessee, subsequently failed sobriety tests and was charged with driving under the influence, according to an arrest report.
