Merry Garrett on Pres. Joe Biden Dropping from 2024 Presidential Race

President Biden, one of the most important and effective leaders in the history of modern times served the United States of America for 50 years. We thank him. His sacrifices have been many and greatly appreciated. It took courage for him to make another incredibly hard choice. Again, he put aside pettiness, excuses and personal preferences for the good of our nation. Everyone needs to follow his example.

President Biden's accomplishments for this country have been many. A few examples are:

• Drastically reducing the price of insulin
• Capping Medicare Part D for our wonderful senior citizens so they never pay more than $2000 a year for medicines (eff. 2025)
• 1.9 trillion dollar Covid relief, reduced unemployment
• Enacted a 1.2 trillion dollar infrastructure package
• Constant support of Women's Reproductive Rights (Roe v. Wade)
• Numerous bills passed to help Veterans, their families and caregivers

Plus, so many other positives to move us forward and away from the previous administration and opposing nomine's downward spirals, failures, tax breaks for only the richest, seditious activities (Jan. 6th) and Project 2025's plans to destroy our United States Constitution.

We support his endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris for President. In addition, we are dedicated to electing candidates all the way down the ballot to ensure our country moves in the right direction.

Dedicated Democrats, common sense Republicans, intelligent Independents, proud Progressives, those registered as Unaffiliated, please VOTE! Stay focused, let's unite, and lend a couple of hours a week to help us win for the common good of all people.
