TOLLAND, CT — A performance car hit a rock wall in a highway crash in Tolland near the Vernon line, state police said.

State police recently released a report on the Dec. 11 incident.

At 2:36 p.m. that day, a 2006 Ford Mustang GT was headed west on Interstate 84 just shy of the Exit 67 interchange in the left-hand lane, according to a crash report.

The driver, a 47-year-old Ashford man, lost control of the car on the slick pavement as he was moving into the center lane, spun out of control and careened off the pavement and into a rock wall, according to a crash report.

The driver, who suffered a "possible injury," according to a crash report, was warned for traveling too fast for conditions.
