Pickup Slams Into Pole In Tolland
A crash over the weekend in Tolland left a truck and a pole wrecked, state police said.
TOLLAND, CT — A 20-year-old Tolland man escaped serious injury after the pickup truck he was driving hit a utility pole over the weekend, state police said.
According to a crash report, at 4:32 a.m. Saturday, the 2011 Ford F350 was heading west on Tolland Stage Road. The truck suddenly left the pavement and struck a utility pole, according to a crash report.
The truck was towed from the scene and the driver was issued a verbal warning for failure to maintain the proper lane, state police said.
