Quiet Corner Indivisible - Connecticut's 1st Fall Unity Event
People from across Connecticut came together to share positive experiences as they continue the work of restoring American democracy.
Yesterday was a beautiful fall day in Tolland, Connecticut. The Quiet Corner Indivisible
- CT (QCI - CT) members, friends, family, neighbors from surrounding towns and across the state came together for a uniting event of peace and relaxation in trying times, while noting there's still a lot of work to be done.
It was refreshing to hear the statements of so many spanning various age groups, retirees to students, all genders at different stages in their lives. At the end of the day, it was not overlooked that we are all in this together and working together for brighter futures and better days. Also, Mr. Bill Byers reminded us of days gone by whereas challenges were experienced and by staying united successfully overcome.

Nancy Neff, Lead of the QCI - CT stated, "QCI is terribly important to me because I see it helping to empower people to resist, non-violently, however they can."
Merry Garrett, Community Activist had a reminder for attendees, "When or if you feel as if you have no power, always remember there are reasons why so many fight so hard for your money, likes, clicks and views. Also, billions are spent every election cycle to obtain your vote or attempt to steal your vote - you have power!"
