Rain, High Winds, Wintry Mix Leave Portions Of Tolland A Mess
Emergency crews responded to several incidents in Tolland on Wednesday and Thursday.

TOLLAND, CT — Wacky weather Wednesday into Thursday morning left sections of Tolland a mess.
The weather fluctuated between rain, high winds, a wintry mix and snow from Wednesday morning well into Thursday morning.
On Thursday, during the peak of the morning commute, a vehicle rolled over on a slick section of Interstate 84 westbound between Exit 68 and 67, fire officials said. No injuries were reported.

Just before 7 a.m. Thursday, a felled tree was sitting over some wires on the 600 block of Shenipsit Lake Road. The road was closed for some time, fire officials said.
At about 6 a.m. Thursday, Tolland firefighters were at the scene of a single-car rollover on I-84 Westbound near the Mountain Spring overpass. No injuries were reported.

On Wednesday morning, the 100 block of Old Post Road was because of a tree across the road. It was hanging on a set of wires until emergency crews could clear it.
