Special Weather Statement Issued For Hartford And Tolland County
The National Weather Service just released a statement. Here's what you need to know.

HARTFORD/TOLLAND COUNTY, CT — The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for Hartford/Tolland/Windham counties on Tuesday night.
The weather service wrote: "A light wintry mix will overspread the region this evening...Pockets of light freezing rain and sleet will impact portions of the higher terrain in northern Connecticut and northwest Rhode Island.
"The precipitation will develop from west to east between 7 and 10 pm, and last only about 3 hours. With temperatures hovering around freezing, some untreated roads may become slippery. Motorists should use caution tonight."

Tonight: Rain and freezing rain likely, possibly mixed with snow, becoming all rain after 11pm, then gradually ending. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. South wind 7 to 9 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 43. Northwest wind 11 to 18 mph.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 27. West wind 6 to 11 mph.
Thursday: Rain likely, mainly after 4pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 44. Southwest wind 5 to 13 mph becoming south in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Thursday Night: Rain, mainly before 4am. Low around 38. Breezy, with a southwest wind 18 to 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55. Breezy, with a southwest wind 18 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph.
