Tolland Animal Control Hosting Annual Low-Cost rabies Clinic

TOLLAND, CT — Tolland Animal Control officers have announced the date for their yearly low-cost rabies vaccination clinic.

The clinic is slated for Saturday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to noon at Tolland High School, 1 Eagle Hill.

The cost is $12 per vaccine, exact cash only. It is open to everyone in the region, not just Tolland residents.

Veterinary services are provided by the Fenton River Veterinary Hospital.

To receive a three-year vaccination, pet owners must bring proof of the prior rabies vaccination.

Those attending will be required to stay in their vehicles until requested to step out Dogs, cats, goats, etc., are welcome but must be in carriers or otherwise "under their owner's control."

Animals that may require a quieter setting, should come toward the end of the clinic.
