The Tolland Recreation Department is now accepting applications for the position of CREW Leader within our After School Program. CREW Leaders of the Program provide quality care for children attending Tolland Intermediate School grades 3-5 after school (3:00 P.M. until 6:00 p.m.). Applications are available in the Town Manager’s Office, Hicks Memorial Municipal Center, 21 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT 06084 or at https://www.tollandct.gov/ under Help Center. Applications should be sent to 21 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT 06084, attention Michael Wilkinson.

CREW Leaders are responsible for monitoring children during daily activities including homework, snack, and recreation activities under the supervision of the Site Director. The CREW Leader is also responsible for monitoring the safety of all program participants while leading groups of children in games, arts & crafts and other recreation activities.

This is a part-time position averaging 15 hours per week. Qualified candidates for the CREW Leader position will have enthusiasm for working with children, the ability to recognize and act on unsafe situations and the ability to support the Site Director in implementing all program procedures as appropriate. All program staff will be required to become CPR/First Aid Certified if they are not currently certified.
