TOLLAND, CT — Strong storms Saturday knocked over two large trees in Tolland.

During the daylight hours, High Ridge Drive was closed in the area of No. 20 because of a tree on some power lines.

Later on Saturday, the strongest storm of the bunch took out a tree on Hurlburt Road, which was closed between No. 118 and Stonehedge Drive after it fell on power lines.
