TOLLAND, CT — The Tolland Fire Department and Connecticut State Police had to contend with three rollover crashes from early last week into the weekend.

A rollover Saturday ended with a drunken driving charge, according to a state police arrest report. At 5:25 p.m., a car rolled over in the area of Mountain Spring Road and Route 74. State police determined that the driver, a 49-year-old man from Winchester, had been consuming alcohol prior to driving, according to an arrest report.

The driver subsequently failed sobriety tests at the scene and was charged with driving under the influence and making improper turns, according to an arrest report.

The other two took place on June 17 just more than two hours apart, according to crash reports.

At 8:18 p.m., a 2007 Ford F-150 pickup truck was heading east on Route 74 near the intersection of Burbank Road when the driver, a 26-year-old Ashford man, swerved on a curve and the truck rolled over, according to a crash report.

No injuries were reported.

At 5:59 p.m., another F-150 on. a curve, this time with a 23-year-old Tolland man driving, was heading East on Route 74 near the Hilltop Road intersection, according to a crash report.

The truck left the road and rolled over, state police said.

No injuries were reported.
