TOLLAND, CT — State police are looking for a driver whose vehicle hit another vehicle in Tolland while using the center median of Interstate 84 as a passing lane.

A report on the Sept. 25 incident was released Monday.

At 5:41 p.m. that day, a a 75-year-old Tolland man in a 2013 Nissan Altima was heading east in the left lane near the Exit 68 interchange in Tolland, according to a crash report. An unknown vehicle came up behind him, but then darted into the center median breakdown lane in an effort to pass the Nissan, but then clipped the Nissan in the process after cutting it off, according to a crash report.

The unknown vehicle then sped away, according to a crash report.

No serious injuries were reported.
