TOLLAND, CT — A vehicle took out about 10 feet of guardrail in a crash on a rain-soaked highway in Tolland over the weekend, state police said.

According to a crash report, at 7:12 p.m. Saturday, a 2024 Nissan Rogue was traveling west on Interstate 84 in the right lane, just prior to the Mountain Spring Road overpass. The 33-year-old driver from Massachusetts was driving too fast for the conditions and the Nissan began to skid, according to a crash report.

The Nissan spun out of control and its front end slammed into the guardrail, according to a crash report.
