$350K Loan Will Help Trumbull's Long Hill Mixed Use Project

Redeveloping a one-acre vacant property near Marisa's Ristorante has gotten a $350,000 boost from the state, said State Sen. Anthony Musto.
The state loan to develop brownfields will help Broadway Trumbull, LLC to revitalize the property and a new building will be constructed to join an existing one built in 1925, which will be renovated and expanded.
The new development will house eight residential units and 12,000 square feet of retail space, and "a space for a future business use," Musto said. Musto (D-Trumbull) said he welcomed Monday’s announcement from Gov. Dannel Malloy regarding the loan.
"The restored land will become home to residential, retail, and business facilities, creating jobs and economic growth in Trumbull," he said. “Trumbull residents will soon see new life breathed into a polluted property.”
The development was approved in December 2010.
