Adam Bell of Trumbull has an unusual, weather- and birthday- related tradition.
Adam's son, Austin, turned 5 recently and the family ate snowballs saved from Nemo, the 2013 blizzard.
"This has been a tradition in my family since 1952. Every generation the birthday parties of the Bell family have been in the front page of the the Connecticut Post," Bell said.
The party was held at Canoe Brook Lake in Trumbull.
Attached are the old photos and newspaper clippings "from the front page of the Connecticut Post of my 'snowball' birthday and my father's as well," Adam Bell said.
