Learn compressions-only CPR at the Westfield Trumbull Mall on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
While mouth-to-mouth does help, compressions alone circulate the oxygen in the blood, and the lungs still retain some air, said Joe Laucella, TEMS executive director.
"It saves lives," he added.
The event takes place outside of Target on the second floor of the mall.
Medics will be on hand for training.
