Armed Home Invasion In Trumbull May Be Targeted: Police
Two men are facing charges in relation to the home invasion that was reported early Saturday morning.

TRUMBULL, CT — Two men are facing charges after police were called to an armed home invasion on White Plains Road in Trumbull early Saturday morning.
Police were alerted to the home invasion by a 911 call at around 5 a.m. According to police, responding officers saw the vehicle the suspects were believed to be in as it traveled south on White Plains Road. Police say officers signaled for the car to stop but it sped away into Bridgeport.
Trumbull police pursued the car into Bridgeport and it eventually ran off the road and struck a stone wall in front of a home before rolling over several times, police say. The two men were treated for non-life threatening injuries at Bridgeport Hospital.

The investigation is continuing and detectives say they have reason to believe the victim's residence was specifically targeted and the home invasion wasn't random. According to police, the resident of the home was threatened with a handgun.
Police recovered a .380 caliber handgun from the car.

Juan Rivera, 30, and Marvin Allen, 42, both of Bridgeport, were arrested for the home invasion and face other charges. Rivera is also charged with criminal possession of a firearm, first-degree burglary, threatening, unlawful restraint and other criminal and motor vehicle charges.
Allen was charged with conspiracy to commit home invasion, first-degree burglary, threatening, unlawful restraint and other criminal charges. Rivera was held on a $750,000 bond and Allen was held on a $500,000 bond. Both men will be arraigned on April 9.
No other injuries were reported.
