Bard's Comedy of Errors Meets the 21st Century

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors is meeting the digital age at Christian Heritage School, peformed by area students.

"The Comedy of Errors is the one true farce that Shakespeare wrote. Two sets of twin brothers separated from each other shortly after birth end up in the same town. Wives, servants, politicians, businessmen, all get confused to the point where it appears that everyone thinks everyone else is crazy," said Rebecca Lamvol, who serves on the Board of Directors. "Christian Heritage School calls its production Shakespeare 2.0 because its modern setting includes many devices from our wired world like Facebook posts, Tweets, Fundraising web sites, and the like."

The Comedy of Errors will be performed by Christian Heritage School students on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $5 to $15. 

"Our students have been working hard to bring the community a wonderful performance.  Please come out to support their efforts and enjoy this hilariously modern take on a classic comedy!", Lamvol said.
