A man accused of engaging police in pursuit was reportedly arrested hiding in his couch.
Peter Marino, 40, of Madison Avenue, is charged with risk of injury to a minor, reckless driving, engaging police in pursuit, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving without insurance.
Police said officers tried to stop a car driven by Marino, but he entered Route 15 off Huntington Turnpike and slowed down. He slowed down enough for a teenager to leave the car, police added.
She then waved down officers and called for help. He was later tracked down to his home where he was hiding in a couch, according to police.
His bond was set at $2,500 bond for an appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
