The Connecticut Assisted Living Association (CALA) recently held its Outstanding Resident
Services and Accomplishment Awards on Friday, June 28th at the Water’s Edge Resort & Spa in Westbrook, Connecticut. The ceremony attracted honorees from across the state to celebrate its communities’ achievements, receiving a record number of award submissions and recipients. At the ceremony, Padin received a Resident Service award in recognition of all his hard work and

He is often assigned to help our new residents move in and adjust to the community, and he makes them feel right at home. Even residents with dementia know Manny’s name and respond to his welcoming demeanor. Residents, family members, visitors and other team members compliment Manny daily. His warm approach and friendly smile are gold to our residents. He is a pleasure to work with and his award is certainly well deserved.”
