Brush Fire Spreads To Trumbull Home: Trumbull Volunteer Fire Company
Fire officials said a brush fire that broke out behind a home in Trumbull quickly spread to the building.
TRUMBULL, CT — Crews extinguished a brush fire that broke out behind a Trumbull home and spread to the building Sunday afternoon, fire officials said.
According to the Trumbull Volunteer Fire Company, No. 1, Inc. Facebook page, the brush fire was reported behind a home around 1:45 p.m., which quickly spread to the main building.
The blaze was upgraded to a structure fire and crews from the Long Hill and Nichols fire companies were called to assist, officials said.

When crews arrived, they found fire burning on both sides of an attached garage, officials said.
The fire was promptly extinguished with crews conducting overhaul to deal with hotspots from extension to the roof, officials said.
