Epiphany Proclamation & Blessing of Chalk and Homes

The Parish of Saint Catherine of Siena (220 Shelton Road, Trumbull) invites all to attend the annual Epiphany Proclamation and Blessing of Chalk and Homes on Sunday, January 4, 9:00am Mass.

The Epiphany Blessing of Chalk and homes is an ancient tradition which places a reminder of God’s presence at the entrance of a home, and places an entire family under His protection. After the blessing at Mass, all are invited to take a piece of the blessed chalk home for your family’s use in invoking God’s blessing on your home.
