George W. Tietjen, age 82, of Trumbull, loving husband of Maureen (Pyers) Tietjen, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025 after a brief illness. George was regarded as a kind man by all who were lucky enough to know him, with a generosity of spirit as big as he was.

James D. Carlucci Jr., age 42, of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025 at his home. He was a loving son, brother and uncle and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

James V. Betz, age 80, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. The consummate educator, he was an avid writer and was also the founder of the Classical Studies Academy located on Beechwood Avenue in Bridgeport.

Margaret "Peggy" Ellen Forno, age 94, of Stratford, formerly of Trumbull, went home to be with her Lord on February 1, 2025 after a brief illness. She worked at St. Vincent’s Hospital until becoming a mom in 1953.

Helen "Holly" Hart, born on May 8, 1947 to the late Melvin and Helen Hart in Trumbull, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 30, 2025, under the compassionate care of Connecticut Hospice. She started her career as a teacher at Tashua School in Trumbull and later enjoyed a successful career as a realtor in Fairfield.
