Chanukah Menorah Lighting 2024 Details Announced For Trumbull

Trumbull will host a ceremonial lighting of a menorah provided to the town by the Chabad Lubavitch of Southern Connecticut.

TRUMBULL, CT — The town will host a ceremonial menorah lighting event Dec. 31 at 6 p.m. in front of Town Hall.

According to the town website, the menorah was provided to the town by the Chabad Lubavitch of Southern Connecticut.

The menorah will be lit when Chanukah begins at sundown on Dec. 25. A ceremonial lighting of the menorah by a Rabbi will also take place Dec. 31, the seventh night of Chanukah.

"Although we asked for the date to be changed, this was the only date the Rabbi had available for us on his schedule," a post on the town website reads.

Fresh donuts, potato latkes, dreidels, chocolate gelt, prizes for children, music and more will all be featured during the free event, which is being organized by Chabad Lubavitch of Southern Connecticut.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend the event.
