TRUMBULL, CT — Trumbull will host its annual community reading of the Declaration of Independence on the front steps of Town Hall on July 4, town officials recently announced.
According to the town website, the special event will feature citizen volunteers reading the Declaration of Independence, as well as musical performances and patriotic presentations.
The reading of the Declaration of Independence will take place at 10 a.m., while a kids craft and story hour will take place at 11 a.m., according to the town.

Town officials also noted all are welcome to attend this free community event, and bringing lawn chairs or blankets for seating is recommended.
