Construction, Landscaping Work Underway In Trumbull Center: Town

Town officials said landscaping and construction work at a plaza in Trumbull Center has begun and is expected to continue for several weeks.

TRUMBULL, CT — Landscaping and construction work at a plaza in Trumbull Center is currently underway, however the work is not expected to significantly impact traffic in the area, town officials announced this week.

According to the town website, landscaping and construction work at the 900 White Plains Road plaza began Wednesday and is expected to continue for several weeks.

"Installation of the pocket park to the front of White Plains Road as approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission will be installed," the website reads. "Additionally, landscaping will occur in the islands along the front of White Plains Road."

Construction will be staged from the parking lot and should not have any significant impact on traffic in the area, according to town officials.

Drivers and pedestrians are asked to proceed through the area with caution.
