Construction Underway At Long Hill Green In Trumbull, Town Offers Update

TRUMBULL, CT — The Long Hill Green improvement project is under construction in Trumbull as of Friday and will continue into early summer, according to town officials.

According to the town website, residents are asked to proceed through the area with caution, however the construction is not anticipated to disrupt roadway access.

The improvements include regrading of the green to improve usability, tree plantings as part of the 1,000 Trees for Trumbull program, other landscape plantings, installation of new walkways, the addition of benches and welcome signage demarcating the Long Hill Green area, according to the town.

The project is being paid for through a combination of grants and local funding, town officials said.
