
A man who allegedly took heroin and crashed his car in October 2012 was arrested by warrant recently.
Brian P. Tobin, 26, of Roger Williams Road, Bridgeport, is charged with driving under the influence, failure to drive in the proper lane, possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana and possession of narcotics near a school.
Police said Tobin crashed into a telephone pole on Beardsley Parkway, near a school. He was treated for a head injury, police said.
Officers found a syringe and a small amount of heroin in the car, police said.
His bond was set at $3,500.
