TRUMBULL, CT — The annual Trumbull First Selectman's Golf Classic is scheduled to take place Aug. 11, town officials announced this week.
According to the town website, the annual golf classic was established in 2012 as a fun community event that raises funds to support Trumbull academic programs.
The event features an 18-hole golf tournament at Tashua Knolls Golf Course, as well as breakfast and a luncheon.

The following schedule for the event was posted to the town website:
- 7 a.m. - Range opens.
- 7 a.m. - Registration and full hot breakfast.
- 8:30 a.m. - Shotgun start.
- 1 p.m. - Full luncheon, open bar and awards.
