Details Announced For Trumbull 2025/26 Leaf Pick Up Program

TRUMBULL, CT — The Department of Public Works has announced details for the town's 2025/26 leaf pickup program scheduled to begin in Trumbull later this year.

According to the town website, Trumbull offers an annual loose leaf collection program that begins in the fall and runs until leaves have been collected in each neighborhood.

The Department of Public Works anticipates the program will begin on Nov. 5, 2025, and leaf collection equipment will be tested the week before the program begins.

Equipment will return to the area after the official start date to collect leaves. Weather conditions may delay collections, according to the town.

Residents can track the leaf collection progress by viewing the leaf pickup progress map, which is updated daily during the program.

Residents may request bagged leaf pickup at any time, and as many times as needed, during the town's loose leaf pickup program, more information for which is available here.
